Memmury Sri Bharatha Swami Temple

This is the second temple to visit for Naalambala Darshanam.

Lords Bharatha and Shatrugna went to the forest in search of Lord Rama after Rama Left Ayodya for Vanavaasa. During their search, Bharatha and Sathrugna got separated and lost their way. Bharathapilli was the place where Lord Bharatha Reached and stayed. The people lived their treated Bharata as their leader and King so as the idol believed to be now.

This temple is owned and maintained by Aaryappilly Mana, Menmury and is about 4 kms from Sreeramaswami Temple, Mammalassery.

Temple opens from 05:30 to 09:00 Hrs and 17:30 to 19:00 hrs in normal days and during Karkidaka month (mid jul to mid Aug), 04:30 to 13:00 Hrs and 17:00 to 20:00 hrs.
